Protecting the Tooth
Any tooth with a large filling, root canal or fracture is a tooth in danger of breaking, or falling out altogether. With the help of a crown restoration - a protective covering, made of quality materials and designed to improve the tooth’s function and appearance - a damaged tooth can easily be saved.
Our practice is able to complete many single-tooth restorations in a single appointment. Read more about CEREC® 1-Visit Crowns.
Missing Teeth
It’s important to address the loss of a single tooth as soon as possible. Tipping, drifting or over-erupting of neighboring teeth can happen as the result of a missing tooth; this can then lead to an uneven chewing surface, stress and strain on jaw joints, and hard-to-clean areas that become prone to periodontal (gum) disease.
Dental Implants are often the ideal solution for replacement of missing teeth. Dr. Durden places and restores dental implants in the comfort of our office. Read more about Dental Implants.
Additional Restorative Services that we provide in our office include:
- Fillings
- Root Canals
- Bridges
- Complete & Partial Dentures
- Inlays & Onlays
Soft Tissue and Bone Support
An effective restorative procedure requires healthy support from surrounding bone and gum tissues to be strong and functional, as well as to achieve optimal appearance. In some cases, Dr. Durden may recommend procedures such as laser soft tissue contouring or crown lengthening to shape up the gums, or, a soft tissue or bone graft to provide additional support for your restoration.
- Our practice is equipped with a Soft Tissue Laser for efficient and comfortable soft tissue management. Additionally, Dr. Durden has attended advanced training in the integration
of dental implants, including soft tissue and bone grafting procedures.
